My takeout order was picked up and brought home and the food was awful! We were missing one persons food, the wings were so hard and dry, the fries were soggy and wet, the fried pickles tasted like rubber, the salt and vinegar seasoning was clumpy, wet, and YELLOW in the bottom of the boxes and the manager, Papa, is probably the worst manager ive encountered.
He told me there was nothing he could do because our food was verified when picked up. How can you verify the quality of taste at pickup? How can you know the food is bad until you've tasted it? You cant!
This man wanted me to bring the picked apart food back to the restaurant. That wasnt an option for me. He was very rude, unapologetic, and just didnt care at all. He never once apologized or offered to replace the food.
The girl who verified the order, kimberly, was very polite. She admitted she was the one who sent the food out, she said she went over everything and she was very FRIENDLY AND APOLOGETIC when i wasnt happy with the quality or the fact that food was missing. Perhaps she can train her general manager on customer service skills.
Apparently Papa is concerned about his upper managment getting angry if he fixes a messed up order. He was clear that he couldn't explain to his managers that half of meridian complained their food was bad.
